The evening of a tasty dinner and great conversation, had sadly come to an end and it was time for Holden and Hannah to head home. We said our good byes, and made plans for next time. As soon as the door shut I turned to my husband and said, “He’ll marry her!” It was the first time we had met Hannah and I just knew!
We had known Holden since he was in high school. My husband had lead a church small group of high school boys years ago, and Holden was among the group of guys. Since then we have kept closely in touch. So it was only fitting for us to meet the new gal that Holden seemed to be so fond of.
Sure enough, months later they were engaged!!! I knew it!!! In the few short hours they spent in our home, I knew from the way they looked at each other, spoke to one another, the confidence they had in themselves when conversation would break off from a group to individual one on one conversation, that there was a deeper commented connection between them. Plus it didn’t hurt that as soon as Hannah came through the door she greeted my son as if she’d known him since birth. Blayne, being the Mr. Social that he is, soaked it up and they have been best friends ever since. 🙂
We captured their Engagement Photos at The Falls of Ohio, and it was so much fun! Now this weekend Holden & Hannah will finally become Mr. & Mrs.!!! We are so happy for them, and that they have found each other. Even more thrilled that Holden will forever have Hannah as his dinner date to future Whalin dinners.
Falls of the Ohio was the perfect location for their Engagement Session
