Louisville Kentucky December Wedding | Indiana & KY Wedding Photographer

For their Louisville Kentucky December wedding, Evan and Lauren both wrote each other love notes. They each read their notes in private just moments before their first look.  Tears gathered in their eyes as they read the sincerity and truth of each others hearts. What better way to prep yourself for your first moments with your soon to be spouse? Lauren knew exactly the way to Evan’s heart was partially through his stomach. Which is why she baked her special chocolate chips cookies for him to enjoy as he read her love note.  Evan knew exactly how to bring happy tears to Lauren’s eyes with his words of adoration.

Lauren gently wiped the tears from her eyes, picked up her dress, and began to make her way to meet Evan behind the church for their first look. As she stepped outside, there was her father standing there, unplanned, but with perfect timing. The smile that came across his face was the warmest and proudest father smiles a daughter could receive. He hugged her tight, and in a gesture gave his blessing once more. Lauren then took the steps needed to meet her awaited husband to be just around the corner.

Curating a wedding day, the warm smiles in a family session, and the excitement of a graduating senior are all the aspects of this career that I love. I believe that pictures are much more than a snapshot for the day; they are the key to never letting a wonderful memory fade.
