Montgomery Farms in Southern Indiana is always a pleasure to return to. Makayla & Josh wanted to do take their engagement session photos on the farm, and I’m so happy we did. Since this is the location they are having their wedding, it made perfect sense for it to be the warm up to photos on the big day.
We made our way around the farm, finding creative nooks where the sunlight was streaming through the trees just right. All while pretending the heat wasn’t getting to us. Josh and Makayla were both troopers about the heat, and did well enjoying each other, laughing, and just being together. Which is always the goal for an engagement session- relaxing for a moment among everyday life to do’s and wedding planning, and just being together in the moment.
Cheers to Makayla and Josh. May you always be able to stop and look past the to do’s and life’s ups and downs, and just be together and hold each other, if only for a moment.
