Kentucky Bride Published Wedding | Lauren + Matt | Kentucky Wedding Photographer

How excited and honored I am to be published in Kentucky Bride Magazine. Lauren & Matt’s s Lexington wedding at The Livery , was stunning in every way.

Lauren and Matt’s wedding suited them perfectly. Their contemporary but classic glam style, with the venues raw and rustic features, paired beautifully together. The warm and simple candle runner center pieces, accented with feathers, lanterns, and single candelabrums, added just the perfect pinch of decor to their reception, leaving Lauren and Matt as the center of attention.

Lauren’s bouquet was significantly unique as it was created by her mother, and was adorned with 3 generations of family pearls, a blue bird of happiness, a cameo earring, and a watch face, all from great grandmothers. Lauren’s daughters would also play a special role, as her flower girls dressed in white.

The couples first look was memorable indeed. Matt not only went weak in the knees at the sight of his bride, but left his bow tie undone so Lauren could tie it for him. Through tears and smiles, the feeling in Matts knees returned, and Lauren tied his bow tie with her gentle touch.

Aside from their memorable first look, the ceremony was pleasantly interrupted by the officiant, as he unbuttoned his jacket to reveal he was wearing Matt’s foe wrestling belt. Matt being a wrestling fan, found it quite amusing, as did Lauren and their guests.

Lauren and Matt’s day played out exactly how they had dreamed, and ended on the dance floor with a drink in hand and their closest friends and family.

Curating a wedding day, the warm smiles in a family session, and the excitement of a graduating senior are all the aspects of this career that I love. I believe that pictures are much more than a snapshot for the day; they are the key to never letting a wonderful memory fade.
