Louisville, Kentucky Engagement: Roxanne + Clinton

While out with her girlfriends at Wicks Pizza, she saw him- dressed in his policeman’s uniform and enjoying a type of pizza she had never eaten. Even though walking over to just say “hi” would have been enough to grab his attention, she took a step further and asked if she could try a bite of his pizza. Looking up at her with puzzlement, he politely offered her a slice.

Weeks later, she revisited the same pizza parlor in hopes of running into her man in uniform. She did. They exchanged numbers. Now in September, they will exchange vows…

The engagement session started at Louisville’s waterfront. Roxanne and Clinton had just finished dinner and drinks at Joe’s Crab Shack.

The day was overcast and gray, but the lack of sunshine didn’t stop this wonderful couple from laughing and smiling from ear to ear…

Many thanks to Brooke from J.Nicolle Salon and Spa for doing such an amazing job on Roxanne’s hair and makeup.

As we strolled through downtown Louisville, Kentucky, Roxanne & Clinton caught a lot of eyes. As people noticed the gorgeous couple and a photographer following close by…”Congratulations!” was shouted from many bike riders, and drivers…

But even in the midst of the busyness of downtown Louisville, Clinton’s attention never detoured from Roxanne. To him, Roxanne was the only one around.

Curating a wedding day, the warm smiles in a family session, and the excitement of a graduating senior are all the aspects of this career that I love. I believe that pictures are much more than a snapshot for the day; they are the key to never letting a wonderful memory fade.
